New Medicare Cards are here!

The new medicare cards are here! Over the new few months your new medicare card will be mailed out, so be sure to keep your eyes open for yours to arrive. These new cards include your NEW medicare number, which is a set of numbers and letters completely unique to you. As a note, the letters S, L, O, I, B, and Z are never used

.  Your new card will mail out to you automatically, so you don’t need to do anything to receive your new card. If you need to update your address, please visit this link  to do so. Once you get your new card, you may start using it right away and dispose of your old medicare card. Please do not just throw away your old card as it does contain sensitive information. The best ways to dispose of an old information card is to cut it into small pieces and throw it away in more than one trash bag. This helps to deter criminals from gathering the pieces and stealing your information.

Medicare will never call you uninvited and ask you to give us personal or private information to get your new Medicare Number and card.
